About the game
Bionix drops you into a water ecosystem rendered at microscopic scale and asks a simple question: how long can you last. Your organism starts small and slow. Everything around it, ciliates, nematodes, rotifers, is either food or a predator, and which one it is depends entirely on the build you have grown into.
Progress runs on DNA. You collect it from the cells you consume, then spend it on mutations and stats that reshape how your creature actually behaves: movement speed, membrane durability, attack reach, sensing range. There is no single correct build. A fast, fragile organism farms open water efficiently and dies instantly to a boss; a heavy one survives Copepod but starves in the early levels.
Reach level 50 and the Creature Creator opens, letting you assemble an organism part by part instead of taking a premade one. From there the game becomes an experiment loop: build, test against a boss, read what failed, rebuild. Or skip the fight entirely and simply create, admire and share creatures of your own.

Key features
A mutation tree and stats
Stats alter characteristics; mutations alter gameplay. Both matter, and both shape how a run plays out.
Creature Creator
Build your own microscopic organism. Assemble it part by part and take your own design into a boss fight to see if it holds.
Photo mode
Pause anywhere and frame the shot: free camera, zoom and hidden interface, so a rare organism or a boss mid-attack can be captured and shared.
Real microbiology
Ciliates, nematodes, rotifers, diatoms and others modelled on the organisms they are named after, at their real place in the food chain.
Plays fully offline
The whole game runs without a connection. Cloud save, achievements and leaderboards are the only parts that need sign-in.
Controller support
DualShock and Xbox controllers are supported natively, on phone and on PC through Google Play Games.
Getting started
The first hour is where most organisms die. Four things that shorten it.
-
Farm DNA before you fight
Clear smaller cells in open water first. The DNA Sensor points at the nearest deposit and roughly doubles your farming rate.
-
Balance the build
All-damage organisms stall at the first boss. Damage, survivability and mobility together beat any single maxed stat.
-
Sign in before you invest time
Cloud save is the only backup and the only way to move progress to another device. Offline runs cannot restore later.
-
Tune performance early
If frames drop, lower resolution and turn off post-processing. Boss fights are the first place stutter costs you a run.
Bionix FAQ
Answers to the questions players most often ask.
What kind of game is Bionix: Spore Evolution Sim 3D?
Bionix is an evolution simulation game where you design an organism, unlock mutations, consume smaller cells, and adapt to survive in a competitive microscopic world.
How do I find Copepod or Daphnia?
Copepod and Daphnia can be hard to find, so keep exploring, level up your creature, and use a stronger build to survive long enough to encounter them.
How do I defeat bosses?
Boss fights are much easier with a balanced build that combines good damage, survivability, and mobility.
Which creature is best for leveling and farming DNA?
The best creature depends on your goal, but in general the most effective choice is one that can kill enemies quickly while staying alive consistently.
What does the DNA Sensor do?
DNA Sensor helps you farm DNA more efficiently by showing the direction of the nearest DNA.
How do I unlock Creature Creator?
Creature Creator becomes available when you reach level 50.
Why is Creature Creator or a Boss still locked?
Creature Creator and bosses are unlocked only through achievements or purchases, and if something is still unavailable, make sure you are not entering the game in offline mode.
How do I restore my progress?
To restore progress, sign in to the same account and use the cloud save/load feature, since cloud save is required for backup and cross-device transfer.
Why are my purchases or unlocks not working correctly?
If a purchase, remove ads, or unlock does not work correctly, make sure you are signed in, update the game, and try restoring your purchase before contacting support.
Can I play offline?
Yes, the game supports offline play, although some features like cloud save, achievements, leaderboard functions, and certain unlocks require sign-in.
Does the game support controllers?
Yes, the game officially supports gamepads including DualShock and Xbox controllers.
What should I do if the game lags, crashes, or has bugs?
If the game runs poorly, lower the resolution and graphics settings and disable post-processing effects, and if you find a bug, report it using the Report Bug button in the information section.
How do I unlock bosses like Copepod, Daphnia, and others?
Bosses are unlocked by defeating them, since each boss kill grants you an achievement that unlocks permanent access to that boss.
What do mutations do in Bionix?
Mutations change the way your organism performs, letting you adjust speed, survivability, and other traits to fit your playstyle and overcome stronger opponents.
